Theatre Unbound's Mere Trifles
Theatre Unbound Presents Mere Trifles
Theatre Unbound presents Pulitzer-winner Susan Glaspell's haunting classic Trifles, in honor of it's 100th anniversary, as part of an evening of one-acts at SteppingStone Theatre. Two new scripts by Twin Cities writers Maxie Rockymore and Rhiana Yazzie have been commissioned for this production. Lynn Nottage’s subversive comedy Poof rounds out the evening. “Given the legacy of Trifles, it only made sense for Theatre Unbound to honor its 100th anniversary in the spirit of Glaspell through a continued exploration of the way women respond to violence of all types,” said Anne Bertram, Executive Director of Theatre Unbound. “We hope this production sparks an honest conversation amongst audience members and leads to a new appreciation for the influence of the play and its creator.” |
You could be the winner of two tickets to opening weekend for an evening of one-acts by Theatre Unbound, a theater company that creates work conceived and created by women—a perfect way to celebrate Women's History Month.
